A MAN has been arrested after shocking images were uploaded to a social media website. The man was arrested by a special team at Doncaster police station on Tuesday night (April 30) after a 45-second video of a 14-month-old child dressed in a Spiderman suit was uploaded to the messaging app, Snapchat, earlier in the day. 1 Credit: ITV News Central The arrested man was understood to have been living in the east Midlands. Police said officers were in the early stages of their inquiries and that the investigation was still "very much in the early stages". A friend of the child, aged 14 months, reported the matter to Doncaster Police and officers confirmed the child was at risk but did not give further details. A tweet on the Doncaster Police Twitter account said: "Please be aware that we have arrested a man in connection with the posting of indecent images of a child and also in relation to alleged sexual offences. "Officers from Operation Flora have been in the early stages of their investigation and are working with specialist officers from the National Crime Agency. "Our investigation is ongoing, but at this stage we have a number of witnesses to interview." In a statement later, the force said: “At 4.35pm today (Tuesday, April 30) officers from Doncaster police were alerted to an image being circulated via social media. “Officers from the National Crime Agency’s (NCA) Operation Flora were informed and a major investigation was initiated. “At 6.45pm officers arrested a man in the Doncaster area who was assisting with the investigation and subsequently searched his premises. “The man was arrested on suspicion of sexual offences and released on bail to return to police in due course. “We are keeping an open mind in relation to this investigation and we are mindful that there may be a wider audience to this incident.” Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.Long-term outcome in elderly patients with acute pulmonary embolism: prognostic factors and long-term health-related quality of life.
